March 7, 2012, 5:30 Happy Hour. ABAS will have its first monthly happy hour at Il Fornaio on Wednesday, March 7, 2012. Please join us for a no-host happy hour to beat the mid-week blues and to mix and mingle with fellow ABAS members. ABAS will hold another happy hour on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at Il Fornaio.
March 15, 2012 MCLE Lunch. ABAS is pleased to have Patrice Truman, Esq., a jury and trial consultant, present “Biases in Jury Selection” on Thursday, March 15, 2012. The program will explain the conscious and unconscious biases jurors have and how they may affect jury selection techniques and strategies. The lunch will be held at Mennemeier, Glassman & Stroud, LLP, 980 9th Street, 2nd Floor. $25 for ABAS members, $30 for non-members. April 11, 2012 ABAS Anniversary & Awards Dinner. ABAS’ 31st Anniversary & Awards Dinner will take place on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at the Tsakopoulos Library Galleria in downtown Sacramento. It will feature Justice Goodwin Liu of the California Supreme Court as our keynote speaker. We will also celebrate the 15th anniversary of the ABAS Law Foundation, the 501(c)(3) educational and charitable counterpart to ABAS.
